ANGLICAN FAITH VALUES:
As Anglicans, we value our place in a global communion of churches, our rich history of faith and practice, and a deep commitment the authority of the word of God
We live out gospel values of kindness, generosity, love, justice, fairness, truth, hospitality, service, compassion, forgiveness and redemption. (Gal. 5;22; ePH. 5:9)
We know and care for the development of the whole person (mind, body and spirit)(1Th 5:23)
We equip and commission leaders for the work of the ministry and the building up of the body of Christ. We value the spiritual gifts and natural talents of all God’s people and also provide an enabling environment for the discovery and development of these gifts and talents. (Acts 6:1; Rom. 12:1-8; Eph. 4:11-16)
We cultivate a deep, healthy, and abiding relationship with God and our fellow parishioners through fellowship and showing love for one another and thereby fulfilling the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Rom. 13:9; LK. 1O:27)
We uphold families because marriage and family life are ordained by God. We believe the Church is to come alongside families and assist parents by helping them to impart the Christian faith and teach morality (Deut. 6:4-10; Eph.6:4; 2tIM. 1:5).
We acknowledge that all good and perfect gifts come from God. As we have received, we generously give of our time, talents and treasure to the work of His kingdom through our parish (Exd. 36:2-7; Ps. 24; Mt. 25:40; Lk. 16:2; Acts 20:35; Rom. 12;1,2; 2Cor. 8:1-5; James 1:17)
